Bibliotheek Neude is afgelopen week verkozen tot Beste Bibliotheek van Nederland. Volgens de vakjury blinkt deze Utrechtse bieb uit in ’de uitstekende ontplooiing van alle kernfuncties, met her en der ruimte voor een extra twist’. Bibliotheken zijn namelijk allang niet meer plekken om alleen te lezen en lenen, maar fungeren als een ontmoetingsplaats.
